The Yack & Dandy is our signature Backwoods whisky cocktail, created in Yackandandah and made with our Single Malt Whisky matured in Shiraz Barrels.
Rich, aromatic and slightly bittersweet, it brings together Australian single malt whisky, sweet vermouth, Triple Sec and orange bitters for a sophisticated cocktail that's made for slow sipping.
Ingredients
- 45ml Backwoods Single Malt Whisky, Shiraz Barrels
- 15ml sweet vermouth
- 5ml Triple Sec
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Ice
- Orange peel, to garnish
Method
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass.
- Fill with ice and stir for around 20 seconds.
- Taste as you go and continue stirring until you're happy with the level of dilution.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a thin slice of orange peel.
