whisky hand fill experience
Our most immersive experience - bottle an exclusive whisky straight from the barrel. One of the few distilleries in the world that offer this experience.
The experience involves:
- Hand-fill your bottle â draw whisky straight from the Special Reserve Cask under the guidance of our team
- Personalise your label â handwrite and seal your custom label
- Take home a special keepsake â your 500ml bottle in a Backwoods gift bag
Simply ask our staff on arrival or you can pre-book online.
meet our copper stills
Our production area is on display, so you can see where the magic happens.
All our mashing, fermenting and distilling happens at the distillery door site. If the teamâs free, weâre always happy to talk whisky, explain the process, and share a bit of the Backwoods story.
Itâs a rare chance to experience a working distillery up close - and one of the things that makes a visit here so special.
