A big milestone for Backwoods this week! A batch of our Australian rye whisky has landed in the US of A!
A few years ago, Leigh made contact with the legends behind one of his fave whisky podcasts ‘One Nation Under Whisky’ and our friendship with Joshua and Jason began.
Fast forward to this week and Joshua and Jason’s specially selected cask, launched in the US with their independent bottling brand Single Cask Nation. A truly Aussie rye whisky, aged in a Shiraz cask.
This is the brand’s first Aussie whisky! And it’s a Backwoods rye!! Can you believe that?! So grateful for this opportunity. And we love that it’s come about through friendship.
