Salted Lime Paloma

Salted Lime Paloma

A fresh, citrusy and seriously refreshing twist on the classic Paloma.

Instead of tequila, our Salted Lime Paloma uses Backwoods Salted Lime Gin, paired with pink grapefruit, fresh lime, sugar syrup and soda water. It's bright, zesty and made for long afternoons.

Ingredients

  • 60ml Backwoods Salted Lime Gin
  • 30ml fresh pink grapefruit juice
  • 10ml fresh lime juice
  • 15ml sugar syrup
  • 60ml soda water
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge, to garnish

Method

  1. Add the Salted Lime Gin, grapefruit juice, lime juice and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add ice and shake until chilled.
  3. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass.
  4. Top with soda water.
  5. Garnish with a wedge of lime.

The Salted Lime Paloma

The Paloma is traditionally made with tequila and grapefruit, but we think Salted Lime Gin makes a pretty good Australian alternative.

Backwoods Salted Lime Gin brings bright citrus and a subtle savoury edge to the drink, while fresh grapefruit and lime add plenty of zing. Soda water keeps it light and refreshing.

It's the kind of cocktail you'll want to make again as soon as you've finished the first one.

Make it with Backwoods

This cocktail is made with Backwoods Salted Lime Gin — a bright, citrus-forward Australian gin that's made for refreshing cocktails.
